Not too long ago, this was a tiny aloe plant in the side yard.  It seems the more I ignore it, the more it grows.

Prickly Pear Cactus

I found the purple growth on this cactus to be pretty interesting visually...I later learned that they are actually fruit called 'tuna' and is a common delicacy in Mexico.

These little critters caught my eye.
